[the power of prayer]

[the power of prayer]

Sometimes, when you are tired of your own problems, you need to go somewhere where you’ll have to take care of someone else’s problems and where you’ll simply not have time for your own problems. Such, it seems, was the philosophy of Dr. Luka Kovac, a Croatian, who went to Africa with Doctors without Borders program.

I am on my balcony, alone tonight again. This week was stressful. Everyone is anxious considering that we’ve got the Independence Picnic coming up and we had a hugely important meeting yesterday with the president of Ukraine and most of the “important people” who rule Ukraine. Since everything had to be perfect (obviously) and there …

I am starting to get used to working with Excel. Granted, all this budget and financial stuff is driving me up the wall sometimes because of my slight OCD toward details and cleanliness. [picnic with friends]

I have spent a wonderful day with friends today at one of ex-Chamber staff’s dacha (summer house). It wasn’t far from Kyiv, but the air was fresh and the nature stunning. I forgot my Sophie at home, so I had to use my Nokia N73’s 3.2 megapixel camera to capture at least a bit of …
