[AC or BC?… or ABC?]

We sent Timothy to strengthen and establish and to exhort and comfort and encourage you in your faith, so that no one of you should be disturbed and beguiled and led astray by these afflictions and difficulties to which I have referred. For you yourselves know that this is our appointed lot.

For many believers, Christian mission is mostly focused on what the New Testament talks about. They start with the very first Christmas and end with the final apocalyptic Judgment day. Wright, however, reminds us that we have to start at the beginning of the Bible – the creation – to see the entire Good News story.

One of the things he emphasizes in the beginning of his book is how we treat the nature around us.

We are back – arrived this morning – tired, exhausted, but it was a good time.

Thank you to all who prayed – your prayers helped a lot.

There are a lot of lessons to be learned from the experience.

We taught kids, God and kids taught us.

I mentioned last week that a good friend of mine was a speaker at a mini-conference last Thursday. The theme of the conference was “How to Reach Goals without Hurting People” – and the main idea was to create sort of a battle between the representatives of business and people involved in ministries at Church.

[darkness and light]

[darkness and light]

Close your eyes and imagine that is all you would ever see.

Darkness.

Those who have seen, the remains of images will stay in mind even if they will lose their sight. Those who never saw, darkness is the only choice, except for dreams.

Most of the time, I hear people talk about old Abraham’s faith and obedience to God. I don’t want to diminish Abe’s faith – I still have to learn so much to believe like he did. However, even more than with Abraham’s dedication, I am always struck with Isaac’s attitude.

[Church in 3D???]

Stumbled upon a Twitter update today from Mashable about a topic that piqued my curiosity. Would You Attend a Church Service in 3D? (you can check the entire article here) Once again, I feel rather unnerved about this. Church in 3D? What’s that all about? Why would someone need 3D to experience God’s Presence? Or …
