Once upon a time, I fell in love with this story. So deeply in love that I wrote a blog post about each of the main characters. I still love it. One day, I hope I’ll be able to sit down with my kids and tell them about the power of love that can change the world.

Javert reminds me of those priests who walked past the wounded man in the parable about the Good Samaritan. He considered himself superior, cleaner, more righteous than all those others who did not have the same level of Law-abiding habits.
