I bought this key chain during my second visit to the US. Aimlessly browsing Wal*Mart aisles, I came across a key chain stand.

That’s when I saw it.

“God never shuts one door without opening another.”

My life has been a proof of that.

I am guessing that yours was too.

  • Truth. God has shut my door (for now) on doing normal things that college students do (because of my health), but he has opened doors for me to understand and reach out to people who are in the margins of society (like I sometimes am as a result of my disability).

    • Wish you could meet my mom – I bet you two would find a lot of stories to share. She has a mild case of CP and once she went to get some documents from an organization that helps people with special needs and elderly… When she was there, she thought about the fact that all those people there cannot go to our First Church because it’s too far from them and they cannot easily navigate public transportation. So she felt led to start a small Bible study group right there, using the premises of that organization (most of the people the organization was helping lived in a walking distance)… That was over 15 years ago and now there’s another Church of the Nazarene in Kyiv and she’s a pastor 🙂 Without her disability, she would not be able to get through to those people there – but her disability gave her the ability (pun intended) 🙂

  • God is so faithful.  We are limited by our sight of the future and what is transpiring all around us, therefore we must trust that God has our best intentions in mind.  Jer 29:11 NIV, “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for
welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope”

  • Does anyone know where I can buy this key?

    • @facebook-703759662:disqus – I bought it six years ago at Wal*Mart… Not sure if they are still available…
