Remember that street I described in the “Green” post?

This is the same street a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, we’ve got snow.

Lots of it.

There were a few days of warmth and everyone thought the Spring has come.

I was happy that it was warm, but I was also sad that the snow has gone away.

Obviously God has heard my pleas for at least one more time of snowboarding, so we got snow again.

Do you have a lot of snow where you live? Do you get snow at all?

  • That is a lot of snow!  We have been blessed with only maybe 3 inches all winter.  Maybe.  Last year it seemed like I was born with a shovel in my hand.  This year it has been lovely.  Even today, when we got maybe 1″, the roads and walks were clear and it is to hit the 40s.  Yeah, I am really suffering.  Glad you got one more snowboarding chance.  Just don’t break anything.

    • 40s!!! Wow. (Hopefully not Celsius? 😀 )

Yes, I am excited. I have been literally dreaming about snowboarding for a couple of weeks straight… It gets old after a couple of dreams like that because I hate waking up.

  • That’s ridiculous. Most people around here (myself included) loathe snow. We had a few inches, but it’s been a really warm winter this year (more like a mild spring, if anything).

However, I have tried snowboarding once, and I loved it and wish I could do it again, so you’ve got that going for you! We don’t have anything even close to a mountain around here, so we have to travel for hours to see them.

    • A month ago I would’ve agreed with you wholeheartedly – I loathed coldness and wetness of the snow and the melting and everything associated with winter. However, after I discovered snowboarding, it has been not so bad. I still hate to be cold and prefer warm weather for hoodies and shorts, but at least now winter is not so bad.
