Green.

The surroundings turned from pearly white to muddy black.

Spring is coming, but not until this dirty stage passes.

Green is just around the corner.

I used to dislike white season. Cold and wet, it didn’t have any allure.

Now I find myself mildly disappointed that the white stage went by so fast. I still want to conquer the slopes on a snowboard – and waiting for next winter seems so long.

However, I will welcome green season with a grin. Finally a time of t-shirts and hoodies, a time of early sunrises and late sunsets.

What is your favorite season of the year?

I often walk here on my way to or from the mall that is next to my house. It's a longer route than another one, yet I love this street so much that extra five minutes of walking bring only pleasure.

I love the photo of the street.

Favorite season stretch?  One is April when the bare trees begin to change from brown, to “fuzzy” green, to true green.  Love it!  Other favorite is May-June…. lots and lots of flowers, and warm, but rarely HOT and HUMID, so still comfortable enough to enjoy. OH, and then, September/Oct with the coolness and beautiful colors.  The rest of the year?  Too cold and too hot.  But, I live where the Lord has placed me, so I just have to deal with the weather with a God-focused attitude.

    • I guess I don’t mind hot parts of the year as much as cold ones… But I agree, end of Spring and beginning of Fall are definitely the best.
