[photo-a-day: february 23]

There’s something about this kind of photos.

I think everyone these days has participated in one of these “photo shoots.”

For me, it demonstrates teamwork.

This particular one was when my friend Jessica‘s brother Adam came over for a visit and we toured Kyiv with him.

The pink-laced Sketchers are mine, the top shoes are Amy’s, right is Adam’s, and the bottom one is Jessica’s.

It’s going to be weird when Amy and Jess leave Ukraine this summer.

At the same time, I am glad that there’s internet and Facebook and airplanes

Neat! And, you’re right. In our present days when communication and travel have expanded beyond belief, you’re blessed. Not too many years ago, even phones were hardly capable of being used to call beyond borders, unless it was very expensive. I even remember the party phone years [I was a young teen then], and having 4-ish families on one line, taking turns or sharing, life was much different.] Hope you see your dear friends often and talk constantly!

BTW, my grandma worked at the phone station and she told me all kinds of stories of how it used to be. Hilarious Especially considering the fact that she was assigned to international calls
