Zee Gimon

I am Zee. I call myself the Observer because that's what I find myself doing most of the time - observe life and people around me. My blog is a Pensieve, similar to that of Dumbledore, used to keep the thoughts and random ideas that visit my brain.

  • This is an extremely hard verse for me for exactly the reason you state. I want what I want. I want a certain thing to happen to verify or lead me in a certain direction. But as you state it is not about a thing; it is about a Person. Great thought lil sis.

For the record: what little I have heard of BM, the feeling is mutual. Saturation point is what I call it. 🙂

    • Hehehe, saturation point – I need to remember that 🙂

Thanks, Bill. In a weird way it’s good to know that there are others who struggle with this as well.

  • B.M. has been a bit difficult for me to watch, but NOT for your reason… a different personality, obviously. She was so sweetheart oriented, calling the ladies “dear”, etc., over and over. HOWEVER, when I watched Daniel, whether I fit her personality style, she was so accurate. I’ve been an intense Daniel studier at different times, and she was right. [Actually, I think I’m probably jealous because she looks so cute, covers so much and is blessed by so many…. NA-NA-NA-NA-NAAA!]

OH, and re: “Waiting for the Lord”… my favorite portion to see it is to watch “Chariots of Fire” and listen to Eric Liddel state those verses in a cathedral in Paris while the Olympics races are taking place. An amazing “viewpoint” from the movie.

    • Hehehe, so you don’t like to be called “dear” all the time? 🙂 I grinned when I detected her accent… Being a non-native myself, it is fun to identify different accents 🙂

Yes, Chariots of Fire is a good movie. We watched it together with the Church family at our retreat a couple of years ago.
