[long week]

[long week]

Wow, this week was long.

Long and stressful.

I know that this happens every first week of September and every second week of January (when the business restarts from holidays), but still it is stressful.

Monday was filled with communication mishaps.

Tuesday gave a bit of rest, but there was still a lot to do.

Wednesday started early, 1 hour earlier than usual, and with a dramatic mistake. Thankfully Jorge wasn’t too mad.

Thursday was up to brim with work to be done.

And Friday capped the entire week with a “holy war” between teams at the office. We did not draw blood, but we were close. 30 e-mails were exchanged back and forth, majority of them with entire staff in CC. Oh, we were at each other’s throats, coldly polite and defending our points of view.

I am so glad it’s over.

Tonight I will join my friends from Church for a youth group that we have started. Not sure what the discussion theme will be today, but every time we get together, interesting issues arise. The point of the group is to discuss different things (like evolution) and try to see what the Bible says about it. Tomorrow I’ll be helping out at work – construction stuff is going on at our office, so we need people to be at the office… Then I’ll have a dinner and a movie with my best friend Anne. And Sunday – Church as usual. No idea what I am doing afterwards, but should be good. Even if it will be just plain coming home, having tea, and crashing for a nap.

What did you do this week?

  • Can I just say: short nights and long days? So much to do. Interruptions. I rode only twice. 🙁 The weekend looks to be more of the same. But there is always Sunday and then a new week. 🙂

    • Wow… don't you usually ride every day?

There is always Sunday – yes. And I am thankful for that day of re-energizing.

  • I would like to ride every day but hills and age have trumped that. Oh yeah, and a job. 🙂 I did have a chance to ride on Friday surprisingly since it is my day off but also Jo's. LOL
