[girls’ camp: back home]

[girls’ camp: back home]

It’s just past my favorite time of 12:34AM and I came home just a few minutes ago from the girls’ camp.

I really wish I could stay there for the entire term (i.e. until Wednesday), but I can’t due to work. If there is anything that I don’t like about my work is that I don’t get to travel as much as I am used to. Even though I’m an introvert, I miss people I know.

I am thankful that I got to spend at least these 2.5 days at the camp – it was great. A friend from Moscow, Russia, was one of the speakers (she’s the pastor of the Nazarene Church up there) and my mom was the other speaker. That is probably one of the things that I’ve enjoyed the most – being able to hang out with mom… all day long.

Also, due to the fact that there was a lot of free time, I got to get some normal sleep, reading time, Dutch Blitz time, and have-tea-and-talk-about-life time. Awesome. I got to dance (and usually I don’t, but I actually enjoyed it immensely this time), exercise a bit (and my knees did not really complain – which is a blessing in itself), laugh, and learn English (my mom taught it and it was fun to learn grammar rules… and thank God that I don’t really need to know them in order to speak / write English).

My mind is in an overdrive right now and I really do need to go to bed, but I just wanted to say “Hi! I haven’t disappeared from the face of the Earth. I am still around.”

Hope y’all had an awesome weekend!
