[. . .]

[. . .]

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love.

Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.

Wash me clean from my guilt.

Purify me from my sin.

I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night.

Against you, and you alone, have I sinned;

I have done what is evil in your sight.

You will be proved right in what you say and your judgment against me is just.

Psalm 51:1-4, NLT

    I always am moved by these words of David. There is a song from that 80's by a guy named Charlie Peacock – I could not find him singing it but I did find this and they do a great job with it.

    My recent post It is about me … Right

    • that's a good song, Jim. thanks for sharing.

      indeed… I keep thinking of what David went through at that period of time… thankfully my situation is not as bad (I guess), but still. His prayer is my prayer these days.
      My recent post new life and then what
