[God’s Way]

[God’s Way]

Not a long post today (since it’s 12:39AM already), but a thought that I have been tossing in my mind for a couple of weeks. It was something my youth pastor said at one of our prayer meetings and it stuck…

God answers prayers.

Always.

Jesus said we will be able to move mountains.

Sometimes God answers in a way that indeed takes the mountain and moves it into another place.

More often, He provides us with a shovel and a wheelbarrow and says, “Go ahead, you can move the mountain.”

And then He provides the strength, HIS strength, needed to finish the job.

We can move the mountains.

Is there a mountain you need to move?

  • Jesus talked about faith that can move mountains. James tells us that faith without works is dead. I've often thought about it like that too. I like the imagery of the shovel and wheelbarrow, though.

    • Yes, faith can move mountains – but faith alone cannot do things, at least not often.
