[5 minute friday: person prompt]
It’s 5-Minute-Friday again and the goal today was to write about a person we’ve met this week.
Check out the rest of the 5-Minute-Friday-ers HERE.
I’ve known her for a long time. I don’t remember when she came to our youth group, but I remember that she started coming because her dance partner was a member of our youth group. They have dated for so long, even broke up for 2 whole years, yet he won her heart once again and they got married.
I watched her as she sat on the couch, balancing her younger kid on her legs, playing with him and singing to him. He was having the time of his life. The older kid did not lag behind, playing his toy guitar and break-dancing for all who would like to watch.
She is 3 days older than me, yet I look at her and I see a mature woman who has been married for almost 5 years now and has two awesome boys (plus one). When I will be a mom (if I will be a mom), there are a lot of things I would like to learn from her: patience, joyfulness, cheerfulness, peacefulness.
I am thankful for the friendship we’ve got and I have truly enjoyed being back to childhood and playing all together, with my peers as well as the two cuties who were so happy to have someone to play with.
