I need to learn from that kitty in the cartoon as well as my own Queen Liz. They do not worry about anything because they know they are going to be taken care of (although sometimes they do remind us… quite loudly :D)…

I am tired and my thoughts are like birds of the field who fly in different directions once someone steps closer. Because of that, my fingers are not in the mood to write either, therefore I am just going to relax in knowing that He’s right here with me… and maybe scoot a bit, so that He can sit on my bed while I fall asleep.

Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or, whine, Israel, saying, “God has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”? Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.

He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath and he knows everything, inside and out.

He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.

  • The funny thing is this: I've been weary all week. And I think it has a little something to do with the lack of sleep… and something about God asking me to slow down.

I appreciated the scripture you brought into this.

    Sleep well.

    • hmmm… good point… slowing down is certainly needed… and God, of all, knows the ways how to slow us down even when we don't want to 🙂
