One of the perks of my work – we get to organize all kinds of events basically everywhere. In the two years of my work, what haven’t we done?

My first week was symbolized by a Chamber COI (Captains of Industry) Event called “The Night of Lords and Ladies” where all the Chamber staff had to wear XIX century dresses and costumes. Considering that even my own mother haven’t seen me in a dress since I was 10, it was quite a surprise. However, I loved the event.

We had Paintball Tournaments…

…aquaball fun…

Lots of nights spent at the office in preparation for the Chamber American Independence Day Picnic… (I believe the pic below was taken around 12AM or something like that…)

This was a bit later. We had 8 pairs of US Flag shorts and since there were more of us who wanted those shorts, we had a lottery. Of course, we had to dress up in those shorts, right over our normal business clothes.

…the Picnic itself…

Halloween celebrations for the Chamber members…

(this is me and my assistant – yeah, I am cool enough to have an assistant now šŸ˜€ kiddin’)

This is last year’s celebration: the blond gal is my best friend Anne, the dark-haired girl is my former co-worker Anya, who is now in Canada, studying.

We had Hawaiian parties…

We had a COI event at the VIP Waiting Room at the Train Station…

We had a COI event at a Metro Depot…

We went ice-skating…

We had charity events. This one was a trip to a dog shelter in Kyiv, to help them with some basic stuff, like painting the fences. This is my boss and I.

We had different events at the ***** hotels of Kyiv.

InterContinental Kyiv (this is my admin manager and I)

COI Event at Hyatt…

Yesterday we were celebrating McDonald’s Anniversary at the 4th most popular McD’s in the world…

And finally, this one was for the Staff, just a celebration of the New Year at our new office… I love this about the team of people I work with – we know how to have fun. Previous to this we played Twister and then we played charades right on the floor of the Conference Facility šŸ˜€

There were so many more fun parts of my work. There will be lots more. My work is the bestest adventure in the world.

  • I heart the dress. And you are so cute! I love the short hair on you too. I only have a few pictures where I don't look like an idiot. You are so photogenic. Adorable post!

    • šŸ™‚ yeah, that dress… oh the dress… it was Jane Eyre's dress (well, styled after her), so everyone kept asking me why am i so formal šŸ˜€ i wasn't sure what to say because back then i was just getting used to everyone…

short hair was done on an impulse… one day i was hanging out with a friend of mine at a cafe and i said, "i want to get a short haircut" (back then, my hair was down to shoulderblades)… my friend said "what stops you?" i said "nothing" and we went to look for a hairdressing place. that was 3 years ago and ever since then i kept cutting my hair short… then wanting to grow it out… not being patient enough and cutting it again… šŸ˜€

      thanks :$

  • I have short hair too. I'm trying to grow it out again. It's such a pain. I get really bored of my hair…have to do something but growing it out is so slow! Anyway, I like you made a very beautiful Jane Eyre. Where did you get it?

    • haha, same here. the thing with my hair and me – whenever it's long, i always pull it in a ponytail and everyone's complaining that i am killing my hair šŸ˜€ so i am keeping it short 'cuz this way i can't pull it in a ponytail – just not enuf hair šŸ˜€

  • like=think..sorry for the typo (I think you made a very beautiful Jane Eyre–not I like..LOL)
