No, not the popular TV show. That’s my age. 24 years ago a baby called Zena was born for the world to see. Or at least some people of the world.

I went to bed last night, turned off the lights, and turned the mental pages of my life inside my head.

Many people have asked me what I want for my birthday. I said “I don’t know; I have everything.” And the more I thought about it, it became more and more obvious to me that I really do have everything. Yeah, maybe there are wishes for something, but they are just minor things – like a few more books by Koontz or Dekker.

I am so thankful to all my friends for making this day wonderful. All the text messages, flowers, little gifts that were just perfect, e-mails, Facebook messages… and of course, the dance performed by my little 6-year-old boyfriend, my admin manager, her husband, and a friend of theirs.

I love it. People have told me that I should not share my age, ‘cuz girls aren’t supposed to do that. PSH. God has granted me 24 years of life, why should I hide the number?! I am proud of it!

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
